Hilltops Certifying Services has worked as a trusted building certification company based throughout the South West of NSW for many years. Over the years, Hilltops Certifying Services has undertaken a transformation to become a consulting services for the building industry specialising in Access, Specialist Disability Accommodation, Livable Housing and the NCC.

Brian Tredinnick is the Director and sole operator of HCS. Brian has a lifetime of experience working in the industry covering many different aspects that began working for the family business. For the past 14 years Brian has been working as a Registered Certifier with both Council and in private practice. Over this time we have seen many changes in the industry with the recent evolution since COVID being one of the most significant and the recent introduction of the Building Commission for residential building.

This evolution in the industry and the progression into Access by HCS, sees us servicing the industry in a progressive and interactive manner. With many of the recent changes in the industry being broadly misunderstood, understanding of the built environment, access and design, and how that applies to all of us is becoming more critical to compliance.

 

Functionality and inclusiveness of development in both the public and private space are now essential in design, and compliance is a matter for everyone involved in the construction process.
